Colleen Gross, ARNP, is a Geriatric Coordinator, Adult-Geriatric Nurse Practitioner at MetroHealth. She graduated from Elmira College with her BSN, and after becoming a Registered Nurse her experiences included caring for pediatric patients with high technical needs and adult and geriatric patients with chronic illnesses. She also attended Maryville University to obtain her MSN as an Adult Nurse Practitioner. Colleen joined MetroHealth in 2017.
In addition, Colleen holds a diploma in Naturopathic Studies, and her combination of clinical education and experience provide a strong academic foundation for the kind of holistic approach to patients that Colleen feels is critical to quality patient care. She is certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners as an Adult-Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner and licensed in the state of Florida. After graduation, Colleen spent some time in the Orlando area doing home visits for patients that were not able to get out of their home to see a doctor. Colleen worked for Brookdale Geriatric Center, starting their new Geriatric Service Line. On a local level, she has collaborated with colleagues and community-based entities to advance programming for seniors.
Colleen is currently enrolled at Chamberlain College of Nursing pursuing her Doctor of Nursing Practice in Leadership and is expected to graduate in 2018.
